I have been lurking on SavingAdvice for a while now and I have learned soooo much. Thanks to all of you, now it's time for me to get more serious about my debt, so I can live debt free.
Thank You for the welcome. I have been paying down debt for the past year. I went from 3 cc's last year with a balance of $5900, $3500, and $1500 to 2 cc's right now with a balance of $2450 and $1453. So I feel I have done well. I plan on paying $750 this Friday to the $2450 card, which is at %8. The $1453 card is at 0% until Nov 2012. I am slowly chipping away at that. I have $1050 in an EF. I plan on being cc debt free by May 2012. I also have a car payment that I plan on paying off by Dec 2012. I have been on this journey for over a year but I felt it was time to be a bit more aggressive and accountable. Plus I wanted to document my emotional roller coaster of paying off my debt.
